Hello and welcome to Encore Event Design!
Encore Event Design was established in 2010 as a way to help provide for my family and keep me home to care for my young twin girls. It wasn't easy juggling both to say the least, but it was rewarding. Encore has since become my third child and I nurture it the same way I do my human children....with love, respect, and dedication.
Before Encore, I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Indiana University of PA. From there I went on to obtain my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Point Park University. I also have a certification in Event Decorating from the Event Decorating Academy in Florida. My work credentials are made up of 10 years retail management and visual merchandising experience.
All of my training and experience, combined with my love of decorating will ensure that you get the experience you deserve when planning your next event. My goal is to see that everyone has a stress free experience and an unforgettable celebration.

Aimee is our Operations Director and has been with Encore since 2011. She is an awesome addition to the company and her dedication helps to make things run flawlessly!
Aimee has a great eye for detail and design and always takes the extra effort to make everything just right.
Aimee brings to the company over 25 years of retail experience with titles ranging from Visual Merchandiser, Store Manager, to District Manager. She has traveled all over the world as a lead visual opening new stores for H&M. She has worked as an assistant stylist for the Table magazine 2014 photo shoot. Aimee also is an avid pet lover. She professionally pet sits in her free time and is very passionate about animal rights. We can’t be certain, but we think that she might love animals just a little more than humans.

Ashley is a Certified Wedding and Event Planner in the Pittsburgh Area. Born and raised in Western, PA Ashley graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Dance and received her Masters in 2009 from Slippery Rock in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Working in Student Life since 2007 has prepared Ashley to be a successful, determined and energized wedding and event planner.
With more than 10 years of experience planning events for groups ranging from 50 to greater than 1,000, event planner Ashley will make every event a personal, unique and amazing occasion. Ashley’s passion for weddings began when she planned a friends wedding in 2009. After receiving her Wedding and Event Planning Certification from The Wedding Planning Institute in 2012, Ashley turned her love and passion for weddings into a career.
Ashley has a wealth of resources to offer as well as many successful events to draw upon. Her professionalism, knowledge, personality, attention to detail and creativity are an asset to you and can be seen in the details of your event whether you’re planning an intimate gathering, party or a large scale wedding.
Ashley specializes in planning weddings and special events in Pittsburgh and throughout Western Pennsylvania. She will help her clients realize their dreams and bring them to life! She will make sure to tailor her wedding planning services to meet your needs and budget.

“KP” was something that I always had tucked away in a private place of my heart. My love for event planning and styling came awhile ago doing small events and styling projects for close friends and family. It wasn’t until one day after doing my own baby shower that an attendee approached me asking “How much would you charge to do a baby shower?” That point is when I decided, “Hey... lets make this a business!”
My goal is to leave my clients with that “WOW” experience! From traditional to contemporary, putting together the tiniest details to make every event as memorable and stress free as possible.

Liz is a mother of 2 wonderful children. Since they were very young she has always planned small parties for birthdays and the holiday seasons. Deep inside Liz always loved planning and decorating for events.
In 2013, Liz wanted to learn more about Event Planning and how she could make a career out of it and obtained a certificate in Event Planning from CCAC. She was fortunate enough to plan her best friend’s wedding soon after and that’s when she knew she found her passion.
Liz is happy to now be turning her passion into a career!

Mary Grace is our resident Princess and the manager of our Encore Junior Events. Her passion for children and love for the arts is evident in all that she does.
Mary Grace can transform into over 75 characters and puts priceless smiles on faces of all ages. She is a muralist, art teacher, character entertainer, and costume designer. She's also the former Living Pink Queen of Pittsburgh who advocates for women going through Breast Cancer as she is a former survivor herself.
